How do I register for a class ?
To register for a class, students are asked to pay the
fees, no later than one week before the start of the
session ;
What is the class size
?
A minimum of six students is required for the Alliance
française to offer a class; fourteen is the maximum
number of students allowed to register per class.
How
can I be sure to enroll in the class which matches my
level ?
A free placement test is offered to anyone interested
in registering for private or group classes.
What does a membership
to the Alliance Francaise offer ?
The Alliance Francaise membership card allows you to
borrow books, videotapes, DVDs, etc. from our resource
centre and give you special discount on our cultural
activities,.
How often are classes
held ?
Regular classes are held twice / three times a week
whereas intensive classes take place five times a week.
What textbook is used to teach the curriculum ?
We use the most up to date and easy to use manuals,
designed by experts in education. At the advanced level,
the course material is provided.
Will I be able to receive a credit or refund ?
No refund will be given. You may apply for a tuition
credit up to the end of the first week of the classes
for the next course.
How long before I am able to communicate in French ?
You can be conversant with less than 100 hours of French
classes !
After 2 courses (100 hours), you will be able to ask
and give information about your daily routine, family,
hobbies; give your personal opinion about activities,
places; make appointments, tell time; tell a story and
make plans.
